the next big change was the crankset. as there aren't many options for an all-black track crank (i don't wanted to have a road crank either if they are lighter), i decided to buy the sram truvativ omnium (170mm, 825g). light, stiff and lighter than the miche pista. in parallel i looked for a cheap and light carbon seatpost and bought one from rose (195g). they have a line that is calling "xtreme". i don't like the look of their logos but the price/weight-relation is quite good, so i just taped some black tape over the labels. as the tires were also well used and as i saw how much weight you can save with new tires i bought the same combination as i rode on my road bike - 23' continental attack for the front and 24' continental force for the rear.
