Short notice as always, we're looking for some regional accents to feature on a film for Arts Parliament, recording tomorrow in N7. If you'd be up for it, and have a regional accent (literally length and breadth of the country) then please drop me a PM and I'll put you in touch with the director and producer. Quick brief below:
"Basically we are making a film for Arts in Parliament based on a poem written while sourcing views and thoughts online about how people feel they are represented by or in Parliament.
Inua Ellams has written a great piece that imagines the UK as a pub environment with various characters.
I am directing a short film that will show the poem word for word on wine bottle labels, newspaper headlines, gig posters etc all situated in a pub environment.
What I need you guys for is to read Inua's poem and let us record you, then the poem will be broken up into sections and the voices will change throughout giving a taste of the various voices of the UK.
I really hope you will get involved in this project, it is due to be screened in the Houses of Parliament and will also screen on BBC Parliament at a later date.
If you know of any other people who may want to get involved then pease put them forward, we need Scottish, Welsh, Northern etc, voices from all over the UK young and old."
