SRAM Red front derailleur problem

I think Oswald uses a DA front mech with SRAM shifters, that's a foggy memory mind you.

I certainly do use a 7900 with a compact setup 36 / 50 .. and with no problems & it's lighter then the Red titanium mech ;) Take a look at this article if you don't believe it works .. it's mainly discussing new Red but they test various combinations including "Old shifters + Shimano Dura-Ace front derailleur + new crankset: 9/10"
