Rowhan, My route is from Tooting (Streatham Cemetery) to Twickenham.
I am currently doing it along Garrat Lane, Upper Richmond Road, Richmond Park and across the river, but I am keen to find an alternative, possibly accross Wimbledon Common, or as you say, to the south of it.
I am not too bothered about doing extra distance as long as it's on a nice route
