Personally I take issue with the fact that you seem to have something against people with "too much disposable income". Which is a pretty odd gripe on a forum full of people riding overspec'd fetish bikes predominantly living in one of the most expensive cities in the world.
I think most outsiders would say *we *have too much disposable income if this is what we choose to spend our money on.
Also it's bollocks to some how label one set of bike users as mugs.
They come in all shapes and sizes, and almost everyone buys into certain images/sales patter - from tiny girls with retro town bikes that weigh more than they do, to people who fork out RRP for a Charge Plug because they're enchanted with the edgy lifestyle of a messenger, and want the simplicity of one gear and a steel frame.
