I guess in the worst case someone can do a budget stream with a mobile phone and something like UStream or Qik.
Edit: Just realised bikepolo.tv uses UStream. They have an Android app which lets you upload from a phone. I tried it once over 3g; the video quality wasn't so great but it worked...
