Hey guys and girls, thanks for coming on thursday. It was a great evening with some exciting racing, great free food from the MCR cycling community and tunes from Anna and Dan's amazing pedal powered system. We have now done two full events on the much improved Goldsprints FX system which is way more accurate timings-wise and replaces the old bar display that we used before with a clockface, I hope you all agree that it is an improvement!
Pics and times will be up on www.greatnorthernrollers.org in the next day or so and we will be announcing new events shortly so keep your eyes peeled!

GNR were out in Liverppol on Friday for the launch of the first ever BFF North which was great fun and produced some worthy winners in front of an enthusiastic and fun crowd.
Results at www.greatnorthernrollers.orgWe are happy to announce that as part of the I BIKE MCR festival, we are putting on another Manchester Goldsprints night at The Gas Lamp:
**Wednesday 13th April **
**Roller Racing with Great Northern Rollers. 7pm The Gaslamp, 50a Bridge Street, M3 3BW. **
**Static bike racing competition, lots of fun for riders and spectators. **
2 track bikes on rollers are clamped to the ground whilst riders sprint head to head over 500m (same distance as 2 laps of mcr velodrome). We project the riders progress as a clockface behind the competitors as they sweat it out.
Mens and Womens categories.
Amazing prizes to be won!
