Bruuuuuuuce in Hyde Park yesterday.
John Fogerty and his suspiciously brown hair was amiable played all the Creedence classics and was only occasionally awful. Horrible band though.
Lot to like about Bruce. Great show. He's still got it. A shame it ended like it did. I do hate these mass events though. So much not to like. And I think 3:45 is too long to play for when most of the 80,000 stuck shoulder to shoulder haven't had a drink or a piss since long before you started. I must admit my attention started to wander about three hours in... and by the time he went into yet another fake-out extended ending 20 minute jam-fest my patience snapped.
Still, got to sing along with Born to Run with my friends which, on balance, is a very good thing.
