Just spent the last 1/2 hr removing a tick super carefully with local anaesthetic spray and two knives- where the hell were the tweezers?!
It all came out, so pretty happy about that.
Sliced it in half, and put it down the trash compactor... hope that killed it.
Rudy is fine now, albeit with a decent sized hole in his leg.

Just not the way I'd planned to spend my 1st night back, but at least its done.

Much easier and safer to remove them.
Pop the tick in a jar of alcohol/solvent to kill them.
