I won a race there once, but then was disqualified from it. Last lap the bunch swings up in the back straight, I decide to sprint from the back of the bunch. Someone sees me going for it and the whole bunch closes down on me, nowhere to go but the cote d'azur at the 200m line which is a bit dodgy as that's where the gravel goes. Kept the power in even though I was riding on gravel in the turn and managed to win. Only for 10 riders to complain about me, cunts.

I know quite of few of the coaches at Welwyn, all nice guys who know their stuff. I've done a course there but never ridden it in anger.

I'm out. Decided to stay home to have a man come and fit a TV aerial. This might be my downfall!

George or Tom It'd be good to see either of you down the track or on the road some time.
Tom, WGC is pretty good for cycling with the track and the Chilterns aren't that far away either. -

I really want to. It's probably gonna mean taking Friday afternoon off work so I can get the train out though, or even driving.
Away for the next couple of weeks anyway. Will see how work is when I get back.

With starting a new job a few months back it's been hard to get along to the track, but I do the 10 series TT when I can. What bike are you riding?
I'm either on a black caad9 or a black gt pulse. Good to finally know there are a few of us kicking about on here. If you want to go to Wednesday track training given time, Monday is arguably slightly slower. How did you find the track on Saturday?
Since joining the forum I've tried to hunt down local riders to assemble a ruff riders crew, with little fruits for my efforts.
I'm now riding at my local track in Welwyn and hoping there may be people who ride there regularly or occasionally.
Anyone?
