^^ Anybody care to fill me on why these cunt stickers are funny? Is it some kind of in joke?
don't be a cunt -

If it's supposed to be some kind of anti-establishment statement, it's ironic that it looks like bland corporate branding.

was also wondering this. Is it a bit like punks spraying 'fuck off' on the back of their jackets in the 70's, but a bit neater and tidier?
I always thought that, along with numbering jackets, was to deter people taking photos and making them into postcards...

it's the same formatting/font as the supreme logo. prized by hipsters and tibbs alike.
i think it's a pastiche on this based on the fact that people who plaster themselves/belongings in supreme logos are by and large a bunch of cunts.

From the Popbitch mailout, anybody?
I find it really odd the officer felt he couldn't write the word cunt on his note.
-
• #48757
Surely if he wrote cunt and displayed it in a public place he would then have to take further action against himself?
-
• #48758
no surely as he is referring to an offense committed by someone else its ok. Like a lawer quoting racist abuse in court to support their case.

I am notoriously bad at recognising people but I am 95% sure I just saw Victoria Pendleton in Spitalfields. In some Olympics promo outfit nonsense.

There's no anti-establishment meaning or the like I'm sure. The corporate look is the point dude. And besides, it's a rude word/swear. Who doesn't find those funny?
It's a sticker, a legion of stickers at that, but just a sticker some people find amusing.
End.

"...people who swear in public are prosecuted under section 5 Public order act 1985 which states that a person is guilty of the offence if he engages in disorderly behaviour or displaying any sign or written material or conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm,* offense* or distress in a public place."
Bet you a quid they don't do anything though!
Having said that, didn't somebody on the forum recently get hassled by a copper for wearing a t-shirt with a swear word on?
I'm no lawyer, but I didn't think it was a Section 5 issue to cause offence but rather being likely to insult at the very least. Slightly different test IMO but am happy to be corrected.
If the feds were to do anything, I would imagine they would try and get away with some sort of fixed penalty/rough justice type of thing. Ultimately, I agree that they would do bugger all.
I actually quite like the Supreme/Cunt stickers - where do I get a few?

^is that you don't talk about cunts?
I've been called one many times (with good reason, probably) but never got the education. Does that count?

I got detention at school when I was overheard calling a mate a cunt when it seemed to be the current banter of the time. To be fair, I thnk it was more my protestation of "but he is a cunt Sir" to the teacher that did it.

The city police have a record of being rather zealous, so watch out or you may find yourself in the dock at the High Cunt (ohhhh), or maybe just in a Magistrate's Cunt (getting worse...), either it is deffo a public order offence.
