24mm seatposts over 200mm exist!

I found a vintage chrome post for 12euro includes shipping on ebay, pm me for link. they are rare at that price. just 1

it is a pity its the old style 22.2mm clamp but 3.95 is a bargain

what? amazing. i've had the same problem (am determined to find a 24mm seatpost somehow in this land, even if it kills me). have you ordered? site looks a bit shady, but worth a try i suppose

but these "candle"-seatposts (so called in germany) out of steel can be easily deformed. i got one in 350mm size and my 90kg's bended one so i had to spin it 180° for an equation, i hope it wont break ;) its maybe a consequence due to the larger outstanding (~200mm) and the resulting larger lever versus the steel of the seatpost
