The other thing about being slim and flexible means you look the bollocks on your (correctly set up) bike. A fat mamil sitting upright with knees and belly sticking out will still look like a pathetic, weak excuse for a human being, even if he's on some fantastically expensive machine.
Even if the fat mamil beats you (unlikely), you still have the upper hand. No win no fee.
