    But why worry about diet, exercise, lifestyle and training when you can apparently 'buy speed'?

    I meant by that in addition to exercise etc, rather than just get off the sofa and drill out a 19 minute 10 mile TT with your fantastic "speed weaponry", then go back to eating lard and smoking unfiltered Capstan Navy Strength.

    My point was that if you take two people of equal size, with an equal watts/kg output, then the one with the most aerodynamic profile will have an advantage- possibly a considerable one.
