Please report dangerous drivers to the police - Roadsafe. Report to plod, not just whinge here.

In my experience they won't do anything even if there is physical contact. I've had two experiences in the last year: was forced off the road by a bus, and hit from behind by a van at a traffic light. They didn't do anything in either case. With the van I had a picture on my phone. Still nothing. It's a bloody scandal, really it is. And the fatalities keep racking up and nothing is done.

My experience has been a little more positive then - a couple of years ago a driver who gave me a bump from behind because apparently I was going too slow was fined £450 and 6 points off his license. And when I was hit a few weeks ago, I reported it and have already gotten a letter from the police saying they are dealing with it and will inform me with the outcome in due course.
