I'm going to get some new shoes soon, as my current "My First SPD Shoes" £35 jobs are on their way out (fucked strap) and my birthday's coming up.
Is it just a case of "If you can afford it, don't fuck about, get Dominators" or are there other long lasting options?
I commute all year, 20+ miles a day and longer rides at the weekend/holidays but don't do anything competitive so something that I can go to the pub in would be better, so it's probably going to be MTB shoes rather than road.
