Cinelli 2a stem 120mm - excellent condition - £90
[...]
If you think the pricing is off please let me know. This seems rather costly to me, no? The last sale thread with a 120mm 2A sold for £35. There was also a 100mm one sold here recently for €60.

Hi Jonny, you're totally right, I had put it at ninety because the condition was so immaculate, considering this do you think £80 would be fairer or still too expensive?

Hi there!
The width seems to be 60cm. Can I measure the clamp size with a ruler? If so it seems to be around 2.5 cm. Apologies for my ignorance.

Well personally it still feels costly given the two that last sold here were [STRIKE]£40[/STRIKE]/£35 and €60. Perhaps yours is in better condition but around double the price better condition?
Relatedly, the photos of the stem seems to suggest there's a big score in the stem from the headset?

Hi again Jonny,
Yep, I totally see where you're coming from, I was also basing the price on the seemingly incredible rarity of these stems. I'll have a look around and see how much a few of them have sold for in the past to give a better impression of it's worth. Apologies for putting a price up without fully doing my research. And yep, there's a score in the stem, which I think will be impossible to remove, but as it is one centimetre above the minimum insert, I didn't think this would be too much of a problem.
Sorry if you feel like I'm being inconsistent Jonny,
Thanks,
Laurence

Hi there DancefloorTerrorist,
I'm pretty sure the mirage groupset was an 8/9sp one, I think it will work with either, though I must confess I'm not 100% sure.
JBak, thanks for your kind words, yes it truly is beautiful, still immaculate, such a shame to have to part with it.

Hi, I don't think the Rourke is a pursuit frame.
-
• #24
It looks like a time trial frame to me.
-
• #25
I don't think they'd let you take a frame with braze-ons and shifter bosses onto the velodrome in Manchester and I think at a national level they probably wouldn't need a frame they could use for time trials or on a track. they could probably stretch to two bikes.
I really love this frame, and would much rather not have to sell it, but I'm afraid I can't really justify it to myself.
1994 Brian Rourke Pursuit
Top tube - 56cm c-c
Seat tube - 59cm c-t
Reynolds 731os race
£sold
This frame has raced in the GB pursuit team at Manchester over the winter of 94/95 and was custom ordered from Rourke in September 1994. It was raced for about a year in total, remaining in dry storage until now.

The frame has track ends, with a rear derailleur hanger, so can be used fixed or geared. 700c front and back. 27.2 seatpost. There is a very small ding on the top tube, which I think I have taken pictures of. No HS/BB unless you really twist my arm. More pictures available on my flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/96153270@N00/
1995 Basso Gap
Top tube - 56 c-c
Seat tube - 57cm c-c, 58 c-t
Basso Superlight tubing
From what I can gather Basso Superlight tubing is very similar to 90s Columbus SLX, I am told Columbus had stopped producing tubing so Basso just used old stock.

This frame has been been dry stored for a very long time, but some of the paint on the fork crown has chipped away, and there is a bit of surface rust there, as well as some on the right chain stay, on the brake bridge, and on the front mech braze on. Apart from those chips, the rest of the paint is in pretty good nick, very few actual scratches and no dings. Basso dropouts. Tight clearances. 27.2 seatpost, Italian BB. More pictures of the frame here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/96153270@N00/
£100 --- Fifteen quid off if you pick it up before Sunday the 9th.

Shimano (I think) 7 speed freewheel. £8 ---> now £6. Can give you the 22'' wheel for free too if you like. Now £5
Campagnolo Vento rear wheel, no freewheel, skewers, tyre or tube. Really nice wheel this, beautiful bladed spokes. Logos in pretty good nick as in the pictures, though can take more if needed. £80 --> Now £75
Buckled Campagnolo Vento front wheel, I'll take offers for this. The hub is still beautiful and running smoothly. The rim is buckled, there is a large ding on one side. Good for hub and spoke spares, also probably possible to bend the rim back with some effort.
