Really?! Not even a tiny bit of interest for a super rare pursuit tandem frameset with cinelli bar and stem, Shimano headset and a carbon seatpost for £160?! I know the bumping rules, but I know this is an awesome price, and I'm not going to be able to get it down to London easily after Monday. Someone must want this, even to sell it on for a profit?!

Gorgeous thing. Stupid question: where do the bars for the chap on the back go?

Thanks, nifty. Hope someone takes it home, not in the market for it sadly.

Yeah, the stoker stem mounts to the seatpost. SJS do a selection of adjustable ones here: http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/stems-stoker-dept477_pg1/
They're pretty easy things to find, and the rest of the components are pretty standard. Tandem cranksets are easy enough to find, or you can use a conventional road double crankset for track tandems, as there is no gear shifting, with outer ring running from the front to the rear, and the inner ring on the rear driving the wheel, so both chains are running on the driveside.

why the bb shell insert?
-
• #13
eccentric bb to tension the chain between the two cranksets.

aaaha makes sense

Absolute bargain! Not for me (no space, etc). Someone buy this!
-
• #16
Here's a crazy idea: 2 people buy a 50% share for £80 each, then you can ride it together!
-
• #17
I will store this in my garage if you want, might give you a bit more time to find people to buy it.
-
• #18
I would be all over this but the TT's are too long for both me and my potential stoker.
Nailing bargain.

Bump. This is still for sale. I'd like £180, if I'm going to have to pay for a train ticket down to London to deliver it, or £160 if the buyer is willing to wait for me to be in London to drop it off (this may be a couple of weeks).
I bought this lovely frameset from Edmundo while I was out of the country, and I've just got home, mega excited to get it built up. However a change of plan means I'm going to be leaving again at some point soon, and I'm going to be selling pretty much everything (which I'm super sad about). Edmundo was awesome, and drove up to my parents house in Suffolk to deliver it, and that's where it is at the moment. However, I can deliver to Liverpool street station, if the buyer wants it in London. I'm going to ask what I paid for it, and I can't afford to accept anything less. It's an awesome fillet brazed frame, and it's rad in every way. You don't often see a frame like this, and apart from the paint it's pretty immaculate.
I've measured the effective tt of the driver at 56.5cm c-c, the stoker tt at 59cm c-c, and both seat-tubes at 56 c-t.
I paid £180. I think I got a bargain, and I'd like to re-sell it at that price. That includes the frame, the forks (tandem specific, extra beefy, undrilled), Shimano 105 headset, and the Eccentric BB shell.
I took a photo with some wheels and seatposts (27.2mm, by the way) for reference, but check out the original thread (link below) for more detailed photos:
