Update. Jason is still under heavy sedation as they have tried reduction, but every time they do he gets violent and tries to climb out of the bed. He is in a neck brace to keep the ligaments in place. Broken jaw and a real peach of a black eye apparently. He still has a small clot which they are monitoring, its remaining constant in size.
Apparently he was hit by a car driven by a 73 year old woman. Jason was behind a car coming down the hill and she went around the back of this car turning in straight into him. The police are investigating the circumstances
So still not brilliant but not as bad as it could be
