I can recommend a couple of good tree surgeons in Buckinghamshire if that helps.
FYI: a good tree surgeon will always check with your local council to see if you need planning permission to fell a tree. You should also do this as you are technically responsible if a protected tree is felled, not the person you pay to do it. If you are in a conservation zone you may have to get "creative" if you want rid.
