West London Midweek Evening Group Ride

After a number of searches and some enquiries with local clubs it seems there is no regular midweek group ride in West London. (please correct me if wrong) therefore I will start one!

The idea is:

Tuesday/ Wednesday - meet at Hillingdon Race Track on the Uxbridge road at say 7.00pm.

Then head out and back to places like Marlow, Beaconsfield and Amersham at a good pace (c. 30kph avrg) and enjoy the evening light.

If there's interest I am happy to lead out the first few rides as these are my usual stomping grounds but very happy to share the role with others.

No need to form a club or anything too official - just thought this would be helpful for those of us who struggle juggling weekend commitments.

TNRC runs every other tuesday evening in areas across N, S, W, E. I'm looking to sort out a couple of rides out toward henley etc. in the coming weeks. Join us or I'll come along for some route finding :)

Thanks for that Benjam - next time you're doing a West ride i'll pitch up. If there are any West Londoners who want a regular weekly (local) ride however I am also keen to start.

what do you mean by local ride?
tour around shepherds bush and ealing?

If you don't get too much interest here, I know that Twickenham CC do Tuesday evening rides every week heading out west - you might want to contact them?

I used to go out with them a bit until I moved too far away, nice bunch though.

I reckon I'd be up for that. Distance dependent, though, sadly.
