Looking at the website, and from what djm778 says, it seems that the 2012 frames don't have the hanger, where as 2011 and previous do. Think when I bought mine it was discounted as it was an older frame.

Erm, I bought this one.

Hello every one, i have a question, whats the tyre clearance like on these frames? recently thought it could be possible to use one as a ss/fixed mtb
already think i will get one as a second commuter, with a front rack or basket, mudguards and maybe panniers.
thanks.

It's been mentioned in this thread and says it on the actual On One site but for those who need to ask:
will fit 700x32c tyres(35c slick tyres will also fit)

If you want a cheap steel SS MTB, get an Inbred, 26" or 29" versions are both £140 at the moment

Just recived my 2012, white w. lime decals, sz. small and it dooesn't have any brakeholder. Even though i mailed to ask if it would. Called them and was told that sz. small frames didn't have the rear brakehanger.

They are all 29ers ain't they?
-
• #696
No, they are a 27½er at best
-
• #697
They are made for 700c's
-
• #698
So a 29er with flat tyres no?
-
• #699
No, a 29er with skinny tyres.

I just learnt something. So 29er frames are built to accommodate a 700c wheel plus a larger tyre?
Mine does but it looks like some don't. I dunno why that is. Best bet would be to ring and ask.
