Hi there- joined mainly to build a up a steel bike with campag. I currently own an alu commuter a carbon sunday best and a steel langster. My hobbies include arguing the toss over road tax and waving a sarcastic thank you to motorists forced to allow me my right of way.

Hi All,
Joined up today, having browsed in the past as a guest.
Been riding single speed for the last couple of year on my converted MTB, have just bought a cheap'ish off the shelf Fixed\SS (Quella Trinity), and enjoyed my first proper ride on the commute this morning.
Some tweaking to go to get it nice, and riding Free Wheel for now, Fixed will need some car park practice on a weekend or two.
Sorry in advance for any stupid question, not too many I hope though.
Cheers

Thanks WjPrince, unfortunately not one and the same, but more of many years ago when looking for a forum name I thumbed through the vinyl and stopped on a Photek 12", been using it ever since.
Not been sued yet :-)

Hello,
I am Indra I am 14 years old and have been riding fixed gear around town since I was 11. I have been on the same SE Draft since then with loads of changes here and there.
I love riding fixed and don't think I will ever go back to a freewheel. I would like to try some tricks soon and am thinking about getting a new bike soon.

Hi Indra! What kind of bike are you thinking of getting, or maybe building?
-
• #5119
Welcome, Indra. Remember that you don't have to be forced into a decision between fixed or freewheel or geared--the solution is simply to have more bikes. :) All bikes can be fun.

So many ideas floating around my head, was looking at maybe a Mongoose Maurice FS, I was at the shop today during work exp looking through the catalogues and it caught my eye I would definitely be changing the stem and bars though.
Well and a lot of other stuff because I hate leaving things stock but bars and stem would be priority. -

Greetings,
Currently getting back into bikes after a 15 year gap. Have dusted down my old 1990 Condor, and have taken on the Olympic time trial route a couple of times (which goes through my neck of the woods).
Next phase is to dust down my 1976 Viscount Aerospace Pro touring bike to do some proper touring..... although it needs a lot of work!

Hi people of the internet,
A friend has lent me his road bike for a year while he is working abroad., quite handy as I would like to lose some weight. Was thinking of joining a cycling club, don't know much about them though.
