    In original condition. The light alloy forks are there; not broken as you can see....(who said they were prone to failure?)
    Welded steel frame, tubing to british aircraft spec.
    Year of manufacture c. 1975

    Fitted with:
    Viscount's own HF hubs with replaceable sealed bearings
    Viscount's own quick releases
    Viscount's own centerpull brakes
    Lambert brake levers
    TA crankset with special large-holed outer ring (the is LH arm is Shimano Tourney)
    Viscount's own sealed ball bearing BB
    NISI-Evian Super Sport wide clincher rims fitted with 27x1 1/8 IRC tyres
    Campagnolo Valentino rear mech
    Shimano Titlist front mech
    KKT pedals
    SR seatpost
    Nameless bars and stem
    Turbo saddle (not period)

  • Good luck with that mate...I would go for it at a much lower price as a bit of jewellery as i used to race on these in the 80's Keep your eye on the fork especially if it has no hole under the crown..

  • You always going to be up against prejudice over the so called 'death forks' unfortunately. I've had several with the alloy forks and never a problem.
    But you are up against prejudice here. Prejudice = unreasoned thinking according to my dictionary. Quite true in my experience.

    On the other hand, as a buyer you get cheap bargains because of all the bullshit myths: ) I've had many, and as a buyer I know I've had many good bargains because of the bullshit surrounding these frames/forks.

    You'll hear plenty of myths. But no substantive evidence appears...
