Yep, If you swap cassette and then find that the shifting needs a slight adjustment you need to do that manually- very easy, but only if you can reach the adjustment unit.
Also pressing and holding a shift button will query the battery- solid green light on the adjustment display=no worries.
You need to be able to see the LED however.
