  • My compliments to the chef!

  • what outer cables have you used? I put the same levers on Scoot's new bike but the Shimano outers I've got go right through the hole in the top of the hoods.

  • You might need those little rubber grommet stopper things.

Though saying that Ben doesn't seem to have used them.

  • Nicely played. Ideal gift. Unless he wanted a snooker table.

  • I did use grommets, regular Weinmann etc size. it's just the hood is a bit displaced upward at the moment, so you can't see it.
Really they should come in the packet but they're not hard to find.

  • Henry if you still need grommets i haz njs
    £49.44 pair

  • Very nice.

I have some NOS Dia Compe 962 cantilevers. They're not the same as the ones shown in the catalogue but they're the same period (and shiny silver). I think they may work better with the narrower distance between the canti bosses. If you want to keep things period just drop me a pm and I'll sort out some pics.

  • happy joy joy

  • dedication there - matching the jersey to your beverage...

joking aside - a very classy bicycle

  • I hope that's Robinsons Barley Water in the bottle. Anything else would be letting the side down.

Very nice and I hope the dia compes work out

  • Thanks, got them and they look the business

  • Woah. Very nice.

Isn't that the seatpost you had off me?

  • yeah boy!

  • Beautiful!

  • Ben, what bottle cages have you got on there?
Been googling but to no avail, so dredge dredge...

  • Gorgeous!

  • Cages are 80s Trek believe it or not. the style is called Angel I think. Velo Orange make nice Angel ones. to be found @ TFG.

  • Cheers Ben, will look them up.
Still think this bike is the tits, btw.

edit: bontrager do them now, if anyone else is interested.
