I can't speak for now as it's years since I've been around that area but it wouldn't be high on my list of choices for a place to live.
True story - One Christmas day, many moons ago, we were parking the car in the flats opposite to visit friends when an xmas present landed on the road in front of us. A pair of slippers were hanging half out of the wrapping paper. Seconds later someone's Christmas dinner complete with plate followed it.
