Edit: good grief, just saw the damage. Hope you're ok.

sheesh were you on it when that got squished?

I wouldn't mind having a go at it if robadob doesn't take it. Hope you're still fit and well though.
EDIT: Seems like it's just the frame, possibly the brake calipers, crankset, rear wheel that are salvagable. Would make a good project for a second/everyday bike I've been looking out for. Just my size too.

That's good to hear! I'm about to switch to fixed, coming to the end of my first fixed project as my current frankenbike is just beginning to become unroadworthy.
I want to build up a practical, cheerful hack bike using cheaper parts though, just for general getting around, so this frame would be ideal.

dibs / second dibs on this if L / XL (if suits 6'3" - but not if built for someone 6'7"!)

Hey! I've done some work on it. It is ridable now, but I'm missing a front brake. Looking for one that matches the original front one! Thanks very much for your generosity, this will go to my dad who doesn't like to spend on himself and is currently riding something dangerously close to falling to pieces!

[EDIT: this happened back in Oct'10, rider since switched to a fixie]
was intending to fix this stricken velo, but am without both the know-how and the tools, so its a project for somebody else if they fancy,
i've got a spare wheel intended to replace the abandoned broken front wheel,
she might (likely) need new front forks, and gears / brakes, and maybe lots more,
get in touch if interested..
the frame is rather large and most likely was custom built for somebody, tall with long arms,
(available for viewing / collection in Hackney)
