Fellow travellers? That's why I'm looking into a private jet.
The police in Rio will just shoot people and ask questions later.
In fact, they'll just bury any bodies and not bother with the paperwork. -

I loved Brazil.
Incredible place. 5 Real to the pound when I went. Now it's 3-3.5...
We hired a boat (a fucking schooner, no less!) for about £80.
We had to ask the brasses on beach if they fancied joining us. It was the first and only time I'd used the line "Do you want to come on my boat?" and genuinely not meant it to be ambiguous.

I returned from Rio at the end of last week. The Rio+20 gig was on at the same time as the conference I was attending. 50,000 delegates. The place was overrun. The airport was small and not able to cope. The grounds have not been built/renovated yet. Not enough hotel rooms.
Should be fun in 2014.
Didn't meet any trannies.

This post is to let the future know that I was aware all along of England's huge potential and football revolution that we are currently experiencing in Brazil.
I knew John Terry had it in him to mastermind this free-flowing, dynamic possession game, and that Steven Gerrard would mature into his role as England's Pirlo, refusing to make a pass more than five yards long and never putting the ball out of touch. It was clear all along that the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons would favour Andy 'phenomenal footballing brain and maturity for such a big and young man' Carroll, that Sturridge's selflessness and work ethic would make him the English De Rossi(can't believe we once played James Milner), and that Jack Butland would easily displace Joe Hart.
Sensational victory, well played lads, proud to be English!

Right - who fancies going to watch a couple of games?
It's just under two years away, but there's no time like the present and these things do have a nasty habit of creeping up when we're not really expecting it.
The boss allows us to have separate threads based on individual events so if you want to discuss the mastery of Brazil, the bus-parking of the Italians, the cheating of the Portuguese, which unknown Arsenal will sign or just want to point out just how terrible England are - here's the place.
There's no need to pollute the domestic thread with meaningless international clap-trap.
Enjoy. Or not.
