  • lol - yeah little response is right - no response! Who runs an online shop and doesn't answer emails?

My introverted nature is preventing me from calling. It would completely defeat the whole purpose of me shopping online. Maybe my emails have gone into their spam folder, maybe they are overrun with orders, maybe they just don't give a fuck. I'd prefer to go to court, than beg them over the phone for my shit ( I know this is crazy, my GP has recommended therapy options for me - lol ).

you most definitely should take his advice :|

  • I'm pretty sure jammy won't mind. He's always updating this thread with deals and offers from the shop Ed

  • It's the one from their website down the bottom (Its caps on the site, I'm not shouting - a little on the inside perhaps though).

FOR GENERAL ENQUIRIES AND INFORMATION ON YOUR ORDER, PLEASE EMAIL websales@tokyofixedgear.com
    websales@tokyofixedgear.com
I can only assume it's the right email address, as it's not bouncing - my webmail plays a gentle tumble weed wind sound effect every time I press send though.

  • Its a bit daft not to call them when it is probalby the easiest way to get the issue sorted. Yes customer service is very important but also if you have another way of getting in touch and you want the goods then a bit of pro-activity... oh fuck it i dont really care that much! you'll do what you want! peace.

  • Ring them before you besmirch their name still further, and then call your GP. Do you pray for hold music?

  • he probably has teh fear of phones, like me.

  • Been in there a few times, never bought anything but they seemed friendly enough to me... hopefully I'll be in there again soon spending some well earned!

  • you need professional help. you're talking about calling your credit card company? get a grip.

Thus far you sound like an idiot.

  • This thread keeps on giving. Is it really less terrifying to take a shop to court than to give them a ring? I understand some people can have irrational phobias, but you can't use that as a stick to beat a shop with!
It's not great that TFG have kept you waiting so long - but they are a real bike shop, run by real people passionate about what they do, the kind which functions best in a face-to-face scenario. Real people make mistakes and forget to check emails, which are then easily sorted out with a bit of human interaction.

  • Also, I ordered a takeaway from Chili and Spice online once, after an hour and a half called to see where out was. From their response it was clear they hadn't seen the order. They gave me free beer and free dahl, and it was the best takeaway I've had.

Maybe TFG would throw in some DA cranks or a new frame if you give them a call!

  • Or at the very least a free dahl.

  • You have the wonderful ability to be able to use the phone, stop fucking around and take advantage of that ability!

  • Alternatively, just send them an email.

    Oh, sorry...

  • Or at the very least a free dahl.

I can't vouch for the quality of TFG's pulse-based dishes, might be better to stick to their chef's specials or they might face even more slightly unreasonable criticism.

  • Tokyo Free Dahl

  • Apologies for the lack of response, sometimes emails do fall through the gaps. You can PM me your email and I'll search it in our inbox, or you can call the web team on 02072436088 and they can help

  • I've got them on speed dahl...

I wish this forum had a "like" button!

  • Rep him. It's stealth like.

  • yep, forum definitely got them into action. thanks!

FYI, The item has been delivered! YAY! Buuut, It's been signed for by either one of the neighbours or a dodgy postman. As far as I can tell - this is the end of the matter - I'm uncertain if royal mail can be relied on to recover the parts or moneys. OK gotta get back to order some more parts, as the bike is creaking like something really creaky.

  • A door in a haunted house?

  • It's creaking like a create?
