Hi
I have a new steel frame (Bob Jackson)
and a new carbon post (Tifosi)
(I got a carbon one as my frame + saddle are both black)
I have 2 Issues:
1) the post Slips down. After using it for the 1st time today, the post slips slowly into the frame, when riding. I'm sure I got the right size post.
I can't seem to do the SeatPost Bolt on the frame tight enough. The bolt seems to be a tad too long and can't be done any tighter.
I did get a teenie clamp with the new post - I am not using that - was I meant to?
Is my seat bolt really too short, seems mighty odd.
Maybe I'm just too fat!
2)
I have a 350mm post and > 2/3 of it is inside the seatpost. Seems stupid to carry around too much.
Can I chop any of it off?
How much do I have leave inside the seatpost?
