Selling due to LOW// pursuit coming end of july and I still need to buy more key components for it.

Continental GatorSkin already glued on. Will include the pot of continental Tub glue too.

    £295 including postage.

Upon sale a donation will be made to the forum.

    Cheers

    Tim

  • if thats not a key component, what is?!
    ;)

  • espec for a LOW// keep it you will regret it!

  • hey tim, what size is it - 650/700?

  • The LOW// has got a set of 14tb4, DT-Swiss Phill wood high flange wheels waiting... But that means the Bianchi Pista Concept 2006 will need a wheel set. Preferably the Mavic Ellipse set... As we all know the Bianchi's were made for HED3's.

  • Are there clincher versions of this wheel?

  • There are a couple of clinchers out there, but they stopped making them years ago so they're a bit of a rarity.

  • Cheers. Gators never puncture anyway - so tempted by this right now!

  • Had a few offers... Over sea's for £290... Thursday dead line. If anyone wants to get in there sooner it will still be up until then.

  • What do you reckon about running this with a brake?

  • You can use a brake, you should use carbon specific pads though (which are easily available)..

  • does that effect the carbon? does it have a braking surface?

  • I contacted Corima at the time I sold this to TP88 and they confirmed that the wheel was fine for a brake.

As far as I'm aware. no Corima wheels have an aluminium "braking surface" but all their wheels track, road or whatever can be used with the appropriate carbon specific brake pads, much the same as any other carbon rim or wheel.

  • but is the braking area 'flatter' than the rest so to speak?

  • The area of the "braking surface" is flat enough, although it is not a pronounced area like on some wheels...

More info on Corima's site here...

I think with many triathletes and TT riders using them there is nothing to worry about, I know Dandy runs one on his bike and uses his brake frequently with no issue.

  • It'll be fine with a brake, but like TM said, use carbon specific pads - mine are cork for instance.

  • Could make your bike looks *this *good...

  • I I had the money I would snap this up :(

  • Still up for sale for those who were thinking about it.
