Chainring or chainset? If it's a ring you're after it has the be the right one for your chainset (not 'preferably'!)?

I have a Veloce Ultra Torque compact, 172.5mm, 50/34 going.. British cups, good condition.. Also have a 12-23 Chorus cassette with a tired 16t which would ideally be replaced.. PM me if interested, I'll get to snapping pics..
