that looks great, i have one of those very rims to build sometime next week. If you don't mind, what did you make the erd out to be?
Ah, now, I was a bit silly there! I don't have the exact (average) ERD to hand. I went to a nearby shop, as I wanted new spokes and the benefit of a proper chart and some pro advice. I used the sapim calculator at the shop and forgot to write it down with the hub info. I want them, so will get them next week. If you're in no rush can send you the details when I have them. He's ordered me the remaining spokes and will check the spoke tension, so i'll get them then, at the very latest.
Such hot rims mate, am sure they'll go amazing with the bike. The low flange hubs go great with them aswell. Are you running ceramic bearings with them? I'm getting quoted 220€ more for them. Reckon they're worth it? Love the build, keep the photos coming :)!
Woah, 220 extra?! I would say mine are standard steel (picked them up second hand) and I am 100% happy with them. The spin beautifully. I don't doubt ceramic would be smoother and shave milli-sec's off your PB, but only you can decide if it's worth it. Personally, it wouldn't be a wise investment for me, unless I had a spare 200 sods.
