The trains in east anglia are based around Norwich to Liverpool street.
They start in Norwich and end in Liverpool Street via Ipswich.
there are a bunch of branch lines that connect with the main line, dunwich goes to Ipsich and you'll meet the main line there. If you can shift west to the Cambridge to Liverpool st line then you stand a lot better chance on getting a train. This would be near 50 miles though.
The option train wise is to get as far south as Chelmsford, 60 miles, or Colchester 40 miles ish!
