I'm glad I waited for these. The quality of the rim is great, same as tb14 (which was my other choice) I'm not sure on the brake wear yet, but assumed the hard ano'd finish will be better than the sliver or black. Perhaps someone who has run a tb14 could offer up some experience, guess they are the same standard of finish.
I've not built many wheels, but this was the easiest yet. Though realised some kind of nipple tool/driver/wrench would've made it a bit quicker. But yeah, once laced, it was pretty straight forward getting it tensioned and trued.
Scales make it 968g built (without tyre/tube/cog)
Really looking forward to getting the front built so i can get them rolling.
The main appeal was strength (h+ seem pretty bombproof) and the wider rim and they certainly offer that, plus they look good.
So far, I can't really fault it. I'll post up some pics on bike when they're done, or could arrange to check them out if you're interested?
They're in at TFG and would assume BLB to get a look.
