For Sale: Silver & Pink 501 Retro Bike, Exc Cond, 58x57cm

I bought this for a friend a while ago, although it doesn't seem like he's man enough to ride a pink bike, so it's for sale again.

It is a Reynolds double butted 501 Carrera Kinetic, lugged steel frame with horizontal dropouts. Allegedely built by Dawes in the very early 1990s. Still with all the original components including Shimano 300EX 14 speed, indexed drive train, with bio pace rings. Saccom brakes, engraved GB bars, gel saddle and recently replaced tyres. It weighs in at 24lb 2oz as pictured. The seat tube measures 58cm and the top tube measures 57cm, both centre to centre.

The amazing thing about this bike is the truly excellent condition. I got it from the original owner, who told me that he had only used it four times... A likely story you're thinking, but come and see it and you'll believe it! The only marks I can see are a couple of tiny chips to the paint, there's virtualy no wear/marks on the rims and it really does almost look new.
