  • I take that back, looks great in that picture!

  • I think the Dart is going to be a pretty popular frameset for a cheap steel fixed wheel bicycle, only 200g heavier than a cheap alu track frame.

  • I quite like the Dream Machine, the color and fillet brazing is lush.
This frame + alfine IGH (respaced to 120mm) would rock as a commuting frame.

  • i really like that road rocket but man, £900

  • Glad you like them! They're due with us next week.

Rogan: The road rocket pricing is as cheap as we could get it! Remember it's MAX and spirit tubes, with a Columbus minimal fork (£180 RRP) included! Wait 'till it's been out for review to the magazines, or you've ridden it. Then it'll be worth the cash

  • The road rocket does sound well put together, and the tubesets obviously aren't cheap... but it's close to £1k for an otp steel frame. I'm sure there will be some takers, but it's just a bit hard to justify when carbon Frames can be had for similar.

But that goes for a lot of offerings out there.

I also reckon that some more flamboyant colours would have been a good shout - really bright red?

  • It's as light as the carbon offerings out there. It costs the same. It's steel! What's not to love? ;)

Come ride it, you'll see what I mean.

  • How light?

  • Tokyo Fixed Super Acciaio™

  • less than 2 carbon frames.

  • Why no alulopro?

  • why is the website down!?

  • iirc someone on lfgss is designing their new website, so possibly about to be launched

  • nope ^ not us.

  • We're not quite sure what's going on if I'm honest... but I do know people are trying to fix it! The new website is getting close, but it isn't ready for launch yet....

  • is their site working for you guys? i'm trying to get on to order a paul lever, it just says 'temp unavailable' on my browser

  • How light?

1700g frame, 360g fork. The full bike with Ultegra and a strada>A 23 wheelset is around 7.4kg

  • sorry doh!!!

  • Is anyone else having trouble getting their orders from tokyo fixed? I ordered 2 weeks ago and still no mail, physical or electronic has arrived. They don't respond to emails - it's looking worse than shopping with VelodromeShop, at least they responded with a bullshit email - tokyo fixed just ignore queries! Gotta get in contact with the credit card company, faaarrrk.

  • give em a call.. indeed sometimes i have had slow/little response from them via email but usually a phone call gets the job done.

  • PM Jammy 2 posts above yours, am sure he'll sort out any issues.

  • I don't think it's generally polite to pm forumeager's personal message with work-related stuff.

  • lol - yeah little response is right - no response! Who runs an online shop and doesn't answer emails?

My introverted nature is preventing me from calling. It would completely defeat the whole purpose of me shopping online. Maybe my emails have gone into their spam folder, maybe they are overrun with orders, maybe they just don't give a fuck. I'd prefer to go to court, than beg them over the phone for my shit ( I know this is crazy, my GP has recommended therapy options for me - lol ).

  • jammy seems quite on the ball with customer service hopefully he won't mind too much.

Keramic, are you certain you are using the correct email address to start with? Not a "do not reply to this email" address or some such?
