I think it's true that individuallly lefties have an advantage and most of the sports mentioned in the article are individual sports (ok, cricket, rounders and baseball are all team sports, but it tends to involve one on one, ie bowler against batter then batter against fielders).
In team sports with passing there is the problem of your team mates passing to the wrong side. Also it tends to mess up some of the ways teams play having one player going the 'wrong' way. Do you think spring break's circles would work as well if one was a leftie?
