I might have a chance of getting a gazelle lo-pro.....frame set and wheels.....what's a ballpark price? Obviously, depends on condition etc, but roughly?

Depends on what gazelle.
I had a Gazelle Formula for 80 euro's (frame only, NOS)

I'll be scouring this thread when I get home from work, just posting now as I'm really excited to be the new owner of this bike: http://www.lfgss.com/post2658285-8.html
I know very little about Gazelle's but I would like to tweak her; changing the tape, saddle, pedals, cables and blocks for a start. I'm also wondering whether the Shimano groupset should really be replaced with Campag? I did consider converting to STIs but think I'll keep everything traditional now. I can't tell if the colour is ivory or off-white though?
Also, I was wondering if anyone has done any touring on their Gazelle and what kind of set-up they had? I'm only thinking France and probably not camping so not heavy duty...

I did, on a '74 A-frame with mudguard eyelets.. Fitted the rack with p-clips..

Oh nice. I've used p-clips before and they damaged the paintwork really badly after two weeks of riding loaded up :( I'll try out a few different things I think.
That's great, thanks.

Hmm.. Helped my bike didn't have any paint left, except a home-done clearcoat.. It has really started to surface rust nicely underneath.. I used some thick rubbers (3mm thick?) inbetween.. Worked a treat...

Originally, an A-frame was also used for a fully equipped Semi Race bike.
Only differences:- holes for lighting / wiring
- dynamo bracket on front fork
- plate bridge below chain stays for kick stand
For fenders and rear carrier, no clips were screwed on. There were mounted on the dropout eyelets and the chainstay- and brake bridge.
You can use a rear carrier with clip mounting (2 stays fixed to seat stays) , or you can look for a rear carrier that can be mounted to the brake bridge. In that case, you don't need clips.

So I've seen the frame..... It's very nice!
It's in the TVM colours and has a dura-ace headset......I'm pretty sure he has at least the front wheel for it too. It's in good shape and will try to get photos and a price off the guy. Still £300-£600? -

Here it is, and it is now mine!
Complete with dura-ace headset.....ex team bike belonging to Hendrik Redant.
It has his name in marker pen on the top tube :0)

Gazelle Champion Mondial Pista 1974 (59cm C-T)

Crank: Campagnolo, looks like a modified Chorus, there is no 'pista' script on the backside.
BB & Headset: Campagnolo Chorus
Rims: Rigida Chrina
Seatpost: Campagnolo Nuovo Record
Saddle: Cinelli Unicanitor
Stem: Cinelli 2A
Bars: Cinelli 67-39 Old Crest
Pedals: Campagnolo Super Record (no pista)
Tires: VeloflexAlthough I like the looks of the crank, it is going to be replaced with a more period correct Campagnolo 165 Pista (151BCD). Rims are also going for a set of Nisi's laced to the same Campy hubs.
Thanks for watching, just wanted to share my bike to some more Gazelle enthousiasts :)

Nice one! But that crank (i think a croce d'aune) needs to go ;)
Some pista pedals would also fit quite nice! -

Ha!
It's a quick snap in the place I got it from.....not my mancave....I'd have to get a cat to touch it's toes, before I could swing it in there! -
