Personally i run clipless but with with Straps they were still noticeably flexy. If you're using cages and straps wouldn't you want the stiffest cranks to compensate for that (also backward logic but still) ?

That VISP is just so wrong...
(Not specifically directed at you, more most of the builds here) Isn't worrying about crank flex/stiffness a bit silly when running straps and regular shoes.
Clipless makes a million times more difference than a set of cranks.
Kinda back-to-front logic.
