I have 28's & they are heavy - but don't puncture, they also feel a bit "squidgy" - as the kevlar band does make handling a little vague.
But for winter tyres they are superb - the big advantage for me is that when you put on some 25 summer tyres, it feels like you can cycle like a god !!
