they're very heavy, but the difference is small.
if you needed puncture resistance tyres, these are definitely it.

had those, they were quite heavy. I would not buy them again as I can't imagine a place where pucture protection beyond maxxis refuse or halo berlin courier, for example, would be needed.. and in finland we do have pretty rough conditions

they *never *puncture. go for it. if you quickly decide you don't like them cos they're too heavy, i'll buy at least one of them off you

I am riding these in 38s... The difference in weight is very noticeable.

But they roll like a fucking tractor... Im ok with them.

Feel much heavier at first, but you get used to them quickly. I run 28's on my Fuji track work bike, and while it looks rather agricultural, I have not punctured since. They will seem to wear more quickly because of the tread, and note that 28+ may pose clearance problems.

I have 28's & they are heavy - but don't puncture, they also feel a bit "squidgy" - as the kevlar band does make handling a little vague.
But for winter tyres they are superb - the big advantage for me is that when you put on some 25 summer tyres, it feels like you can cycle like a god !!
anyone got them on? how do they feel accelerating away from lights etc etc, can you tell the difference?
