Selfmade top tube protector

Hi guys,

I'm preparing my frame for a new paint job, and I don't want a dented top tube.
Which option you guys have figured out to make a cheap top tube protector?

Like this:

Any suggestions?

A bit of innertube wrapped in electrical tape if you really feel that you're going to let your bars (which should already be taped) swing round hard enough to dent the top tube.

I used two strips of inner tube and rapped it up with a couple layers of hansaplast surgary tape which is kind a soft and finally lecky tape. Works so far quite good!

Try using a board (windsurf) rail protector, it's a piece of foam that fits perfectly onto your top tube
