Apologies if it is against the rules to solicit charity donations on here. If so, please delete/move.
I've been a long-time supporter of Richard Parks' 737 Challenge, in which the ex-rugby player challenged himself to climb the seven highest summits on Earth and reach the two poles in under 7 months, all in the aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
He did it, a year ago now, but is still miles off his £1m target. He needs our help!
It's a far cry from what he did, but on 3rd July at 7:37pm I will be riding 73km on fixed gear in an effort to raise him a little more money. It will be an urban ride, 73 times around the same horrendously boring 1km circuit.
It's a personal challenge - the longest I've really ridden is maybe 45km - and hey, the numbers work too. It's something!
The fundraising page is below. If you can donate anything - anything at all - it would be very much appreciated. Remember, 100% of funds raised go to the excellent Marie Curie Cancer Care.
