Yeah as Steve said the 'gettingabitlighterise' was a bit of an anticlimax, don't know what I was expecting really, some sort of equatorial mahoosive orb of orangey-ness rising accompanied by the theme tune from 2001. Well that would'nt be British at all, cold, overcast with light drizzle is much more Blighty.
Anyway I'm still looking forward to this regardless of weather, are we doing the pub stop again? I am tempted to get a celebratory beer or two to have on arrival at Avebury, do you think its best to get before I leave London? I dont recall us passing anywhere to get any on route last time, apart from maybe takeouts from the pub.
I've still got that bottle of rum from last year, so will make a flask of rum coffee to warm any cold cockles. #not a euph#
