Looks like a nice thrash around.
And where's the wall? It goes well with the bike .
While I'm at it prolly's new hold fast toe straps would go well with this wall/build!

I do love that wall! It's just down by Kamogawa river here in Kyoto. It's also quiet enough to take pictures of your bike without too many people (rightfully) thinking you're a tit.
It's great fun to ride, yeah. Gets me where I need to be every day.
I'm more than happy with my Power Grips for the time being, as uncool as they are, but those Hold Fasts look kind of cool. Maybe not for me though! :)

your bike is looking good dude! im gonna start putting together a few new bits and bobs with my bike soon! i should do the same as you and get rid of colours and keep the bike stealthy, at the moment now my bike is all sorts of colours (which i like) but stealth might be the way forward for me! keep posting any updates. by the way from spok looks tasty! i want one but as a poor student and rising prices of them, its waaay out of my budget :(

As it stands currently:
Risers with fat, cushy Ourys for bashing around town (Fizik isn't very thick and I found I was wanting to wear gloved whenever I rode). Bullhorns go back on for longer rides.
Rear brake is gone. I was having some issues with it, whipped it off and it's just not gone back on. No trouble with the Japanese po-po so far - fingers crossed! I've seen quite a few brakeless rides around so plenty of other people are obviously getting away with it...
HoldFast straps because my Power Grips were getting pretty ragged and I fancied trying something marginally prettier (shallow). We'll see how I like them...
Bottle cage because: 1) lol, HHSB; 2) it's ungodly hot here in the summer and I want to carry water on short rides, but my frame isn't drilled. Alas that cage is shit and recently threw my lovely Camelbak bottle on the road. It shall be replaced with something grippier.

Didn't get on with the HoldFasts at all. Nightmare trying to get in and out. Somehow they flop forwards when I try to get my foot in and in 3 days it never got better despite lots of practise and myriad adjustments.
Finally just ponied up for SPDs today. M780s and a pair of Bontranger Solstice touring shoes. First ride coming up tonight at midnight...

I wasn't quite sure about this bike in the beginning, but that last picture ^ is 100x better than the first one, it looks so much cleaner with just a front brake, good work. :)

Thanks. I'll get better pics later today maybe, as it's set up now.
I need a better bottle cage still, and when I have some more cash I may get a new rear wheel built up (something not too deep!). Then it'll be done (just like I said before... sigh...).

Nice photo man, jealous of your current location....

I really like this bike, it's one of the few times I've seen a leader I like! I'm not too keen on spokks myself but apart from that it looks cracking, so much better in stealth mode rather than angsty Bullet for My Valentine black and red.
Here we go. I think I'd consider this 'done' now (hah)!
Actually that's a lie - I'm going to replace the sprocket with something better quality (same size - bike is running 46-17 and I have no desire to change the ratio) to see if that quietens down the drivetrain further, but it's not something I'll do for a while and it won't change the look at all anyway.
