the commute- yeah i dont know how but when i ride my fixed when i am fit i can ride it as fast as my race bikes, its just when you get them wheels turning they don't stop and there are only a couple of hills on the way which i far prefer riding on my fixies.
Re- the velocity rim, yeah I am pretty sure thats what they use to bond the carbon onto. Or they used to when i bought them from the states. Thats what makes em so much stronger than other wheels. Bit heavier though. Not many people use a rear but I love it. Thanks mate. I am checking into the velocity rim though. Safe miles Steve
