Wanted: Frejus/Legnano

Despite looking everywhere and contacts are everything i post my wishlist bike here.

I'm looking for a Frejus/Legnano in a size 52.

Prefer a early model.

Get yourself along to L'eroica as last year there were a few for sale. Just bring a suitcase full of cash.

there is a 'LEGNANO CAMPAGNOLO GRAN SPORT 1956' and a 'Legnano Gran Premio Frame/Fork/Fender Set' on Ebay at the moment. Both accepting 'best offers'. Worth a try?

that one is on Ebay now. There is a similar Legnano in Turquoise which is even more beautiful.

i road a '54 frejus in l'eroica 2007 - amaazing.

i think the frejus on ebay is after pretty much the asking price, its already been through on ebay once and didn't meet the reserve. Now his buy it now with make me an offer is pretty close to what he wants i think.

There is an 80's legnano for 120+50 euros shipping buy it now, but by the 80s they weren't really proper legnanos...and like you've already said it's not what you are after.

That legnano is not the real thing and it has too modern specs and the size is not correct (2nd link) and like so many times than they speak very bad english so corresponding is difficult and to make things worse they don't want to ship outside there own country

You find me one you like on the italian ebay, which is probably your best bet...i'll talk to them don't worry about their rubbish english, i'm a happily bi-lingual duck most of them say they won't ship outside of italy untill you suggest it to them...that's just lazyness / stupidity on their part.

the problem with Legnano's is that you get great ones but also some real duffers. This is also true of Frejus. I've got a nice Legnano from 1965 with the unusual seat cluster etc which I really need to get sprayed.
