Yeah, it's fine for new guys, come along! 15 mph is roughly 22 kph, it can feel quite fast but it's nothing too strenous when in a group!

is the route changing from the last one? just looked at it and would recommend a slight adjustment in Arkley (roughly 23km mark), turn right up Rowley Lane through to bottom of Shenley Road

also, Oliver was asking if I could make the recce, but unfortunately I'm too busy on Monday

Thanks for the advice, I'll make that change to the .tcx tomorrow and we'll try it out on Monday.

Also on the way out of London, if you want to avoid Finchley hill I think riding along Bishops Avenue gets you mostly around it rather than up and over it.

why would we wish to avoid finchley hill?

i used to go through finchley hill every second day with a 18/46 ss, thats was fun. But now with a 14/46 fixie... I don't know, but I'm curious! (;) ...:S)

Sociably paced 15 average with "comfort breaks" if/when required.

not hills the whole way, just uphill the whole way. like always 1%/2%. Could have been the headwind. Some lovely sections though.
